Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how BOL Parser, Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you visit our website and use our Service.

Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to operate our Service and communicate with you:

  • Business Contact Information. When you join the early access list, we collect your work email address and, optionally, your company name.
  • Document Data. When you use the Service, Bills of Lading and associated metadata (such as shipper names, weights, and PO numbers) are processed to extract structured data. This data is processed in real-time and is not stored beyond what is necessary to deliver the extraction result to your TMS.
  • Website Usage Data. We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data on how visitors interact with our website. This data does not include personal information and is used solely to improve our user experience. See Google's Privacy Policy for details on their data practices.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Administer our early-access waitlist and provide the Service.
  • Send you updates regarding product launches, beta access, and company news.
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
  • Process Bills of Lading and deliver extracted data to your TMS.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share aggregated, non-personally-identifiable usage statistics for analytical purposes.

Data Processing & Infrastructure

Your data is processed and stored on secure servers located in the United States, hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS acts as our data subprocessor and maintains SOC 2 Type II certification. For more information on AWS's security practices, see AWS Compliance Programs.

We use AI models to extract data from logistics documents. The AI models we use are not trained on your data. Your documents and extracted data are not used to improve, fine-tune, or train any underlying models.

Our current subprocessors are:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud infrastructure and data storage
  • Google Analytics — anonymized website analytics

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and encryption at rest (AES-256). Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.

Data Retention

We retain your contact information for as long as you remain on our waitlist or use our Service, or until you request deletion. Document data submitted for extraction is not permanently stored beyond what is necessary to deliver the extraction result. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction. Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion. Request that we delete your personal information.
  • Objection. Object to certain types of data processing, such as direct marketing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below. We will respond to all legitimate requests within 30 days.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies for analytics purposes (via Google Analytics). These cookies are anonymous and do not contain personal information. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some website functionality may be affected.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and, where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
